titleOfInvention Light receiving member for electrophotography
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] Excellent potential characteristics suitable for visible laser light while achieving high-dimensional compatibility of temperature characteristics of sensitivity, significant improvement of linearity, improvement of charging ability, temperature characteristics, and reduction of optical memory. Provided is a light receiving member having image characteristics. SOLUTION: In the photoreceptor member having a photoreceptive layer having a conductive support and a photoconductive layer made of a non-single-crystal material having silicon atoms as a base on the surface of the support, the photoconductive layer contains hydrogen. Amount, the optical band gap, a layer region having different characteristic energies at the exponential function tail obtained from the light absorption spectrum, the hydrogen of the first photoconductive region on the support side and the second photoconductive region on the light incident side. Each content is 10-25 / 5 to 25 atomic%, and an optical band gap of 1.70 to 1.80 / 1.55-1.70 eV, the characteristic energy of the exponential function tail obtained from the light absorption spectrum is 50-55 / 50 to 65 meV.
