[Configuration] amino alcohol of general formula HO-R-NR 1 2, reacting a siloxane having at least one Si-X bond, removing HX from the reaction mixture. Siloxane and amino alcohol are each HO (Me 2 S iO) 4.5 H and ethanolamine, (Me 3 SiO) 2 MeSiH and ethanolamine, isopropanolamine or 3-amino-1-ol, or, Me 3 SiO (Me 2 SiO ) 3 (MeHSiO) 5 is preferably SiMe 3 and isopropanolamine.
