titleOfInvention | Production method of offset printing plate according to silver salt diffusion transfer method |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (Problem corrected) [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for producing a high quality lithographic printing plate having an improved printability and a very clean appearance without an up-start phenomenon in accordance with the DTR method. . SOLUTION: A photosensitive material containing (i) an image receiving layer containing physical development nuclei and (ii) a photosensitive silver halide emulsion on a hydrophilic surface of a support, and having a water permeable relationship with the image receiving layer. Exposing the imaging element containing the layers in the order shown to image-wise: applying an aqueous alkaline solution to the imaging element in the presence of a developer and a silver halide solvent to form a silver image on the image receiving layer. An image of the support by treating the imaging element with a first lithographic finishing solution to remove the layer above the image receiving layer, thereby exposing the silver image formed in the image receiving layer; Exposing the surface; treating the exposed imaged surface of the support with a second lithographic finish to increase the water-receptivity of the non-image areas and render the image areas oleophilic ink-receptive. It is characterized by including a step. |
