PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte for lithium batteries which has self-extinguishing properties and is excellent in safety. SOLUTION: The lithium salt of the solute is converted into (a) a cyclic phosphate ester represented by the formula (1): Wherein R 1 represents an alkylene group having 2 to 8 carbon atoms; 2 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms. 20 to 55% by volume and (b) cyclic carbonate 10 An electrolyte for a lithium battery dissolved in a mixed solvent containing 80% by volume. |
