PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-organic polymer composite structure containing a large amount of ultrafine metal particles in a support polymer and a porous body based on the composite structure. SOLUTION: This polymer comprises a microphase-separated structure directly formed from metal ultrafine particles themselves, which are protected by a block copolymer in which polymer chains having an affinity for a metal and polymer chains having no affinity for each metal are bonded at each end. 1% by weight or more, preferably 10% by weight or more in the affinity polymer phase. A metal-organic polymer composite structure containing ultrafine metal particles of 0 nm or less, and a porous body in which a polymer phase having no affinity for a metal is vacated. By preparing in advance ultrafine metal particles coated and protected with the block copolymer, forming a microphase-separated structure, and in the case of a porous body, removing a polymer phase having no affinity for metal to form pores.
