titleOfInvention | Method for producing linear low density polyethylene |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To produce a linear low-density polyethylene having a narrow composition distribution and a narrow molecular weight distribution, low stickiness, and suitable characteristics as a film material. In a fluidized bed maintained in a fluidized state by a gas flow containing a polymerization monomer flowing in a fluidized bed reactor, ethylene as a polymerization monomer and an olefin having 4 to 10 carbon atoms are co-existed in the presence of a catalyst. When polymerizing, A saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon having 2 to 10 carbon atoms is introduced in a gaseous state into the fluidized bed, and the copolymerization is performed in the presence of the gaseous saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon. The gas discharged from the reactor is cooled and circulated to the reactor under conditions where saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons in the gas do not liquefy. This exhaust gas preferably contains 0.8 to 80 mol% of saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons. Metallocene catalysts are preferably used. |
