PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a halogenoalkylstyrene derivative, which is an important organic intermediate for producing a functional material, in a low-cost, high-yield one-step reaction. SOLUTION: A metallomagnesium is allowed to act on a bromostyrene derivative to prepare a Grignard reagent, and then the Grignard reagent is caused to act on a carbon increasing agent to produce a halogenoalkylstyrene derivative. |
