abstract | (57) Abstract: A heat-sensitive recording material comprising an intermediate layer provided between a support and a heat-sensitive color-forming layer, if necessary, a heat-sensitive color-forming layer, and, if necessary, an overlayer. To propose a heat-sensitive recording material having excellent heat-resistant storage stability (ground fog). SOLUTION: In a recording material in which a heat-sensitive recording layer which develops color by heat is provided on a support, tetrabromobisphenol A having a purity of 99% or more is contained in the heat-sensitive recording layer together with a dye precursor and a developer.
