abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize thickness deviation of a tubular molded product produced by extrusion molding of a polytetrafluoroethylene paste. SOLUTION: In an extruder for manufacturing a polytetrafluoroethylene tube by extruding polytetrafluoroethylene through an annular portion formed by a core pin (30) and a die orifice (50) around the core pin, the core pin is connected to a mandrel. A core orifice exit end (36) located at the exit of the die orifice, the core pin having a cross-sectional area perpendicular to the axial direction of the core pin between both ends thereof. A portion having a smaller cross-sectional area. With this extruder, a tube having a wall thickness deviation of 15% or less can be obtained. |
