titleOfInvention Utilization of certain oligosaccharides and lactic acid bacteria metabolites in health foods
abstract (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Problem] To provide a method for adding and using certain oligosaccharides and metabolites of lactic acid bacteria to health foods. SOLUTION: As a material for food for specified health use, a certain type of oligosaccharide such as galacto-oligosaccharide having an intestinal effect and a lactic acid bacterium metabolite for purifying a human intestinal environment are added to a nutritional supplement. In order to sufficiently absorb food components, lactic acid bacteria (particularly bifidobacteria) in the intestine are proliferated to maintain the intestinal environment and maintain health.
