titleOfInvention Regeneration method of nickel electrode for alkaline storage battery
abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for regenerating a nickel electrode for a low-cost alkaline storage battery. The present invention relates to an alkaline storage battery using a nickel electrode in which an active material mainly composed of nickel hydroxide is filled in a nickel porous substrate, and after the discharge performance is reduced, the nickel electrode is taken out from the alkaline storage battery and the nickel electrode is removed. The above object can be achieved by a method of regenerating a nickel electrode for an alkaline storage battery in which is impregnated in an aqueous solution containing divalent cobalt ions, then immersed in an aqueous alkaline solution, and then charged.
