abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To evaluate the dispersibility of pigments by setting certain evaluation criteria and clearing the specifications, Provided is a yellow color toner which is excellent in chroma and forms a toner image having a wide hue reproduction range. A yellow color toner image is formed on an OHP sheet, fixed by a certain method, and the absorbance in the visible light wavelength range (400 to 700 nm) is measured at the same portion of the toner image. When the pigment dispersion is advanced until the ratio between the value and the value at 500 nm becomes a certain value or more, it is possible to provide a yellow color toner which is excellent in sharpness and chroma and forms a toner image having a wide hue reproduction range. |
