titleOfInvention Therapeutic administration of hemoglobin in cardiac arrest
abstract (57) [Summary]nAdministration of stroma-free, cross-linked hemoglobin during standard cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedures facilitates restoration of spontaneous circulation after cardioversion. Difficulties in restoring spontaneous circulation are generally directly related to poor prognosis in the case of cardiac arrest. Thus, the therapeutic effect of hemoglobin as an adjunct to conventional treatments can improve survival.
