(57) Abstract: transamination reaction glycosyl-1-amine with a nucleophilic reagent containing -NH 2 or -NHNH 2 groups, in order to prepare a wide range of glycoconjugates by substitution of 1-amino group Used. The substitution reaction does not adversely affect the sugar ring structure as in the prior art reductive amination reactions. Suitable nucleophiles are nucleophiles having chromophore groups, fluorophore groups, chemiluminescent groups, lipid, amino acid or peptide components, biotin, drugs and linker / spacer groups and affinity labels. The ratio of glycosyl-1-amine to nucleophile ranges from about 1: 1 to about 1: 2 by weight. |
