abstract | (57) Abstract: An electrolytic cell for etching an aluminum foil, a method for etching an aluminum foil, and a capacitor provided with such a foil are provided. The cell is an etching tank that includes an etching electrolyte therein and further includes at least a first compartment and a second compartment each containing an etching electrolyte; a cathode plate; and a cell present in the etching electrolyte.
