abstract | (57) [Summary]nIn a method for producing an aromatic polycarbonate resin by performing a melt polycondensation reaction between an aromatic dihydroxy compound and an aromatic carbonic acid diester, an aromatic monohydroxy compound produced as a by-product from the reaction system is collected by a scrubber type condenser. A mixed liquid mainly composed of the same aromatic monohydroxy compound as the produced aromatic monohydroxy compound and containing a freezing point depressant such as glycol for the compound is used as the scrubbing liquid. |
