Polyurethane elastomer, method for producing the polyurethane elastomer and use thereof |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] The present invention provides the following structural unit (a) (Wherein the group —O—R 1 —O— represents a macrodiol group having a molecular weight of about 500 to 10,000, and R 2 represents a divalent aliphatic, alicyclic and / or aliphatic-alicyclic group. X represents a short-chain olefinically unsaturated group, Y represents NH or O, n represents an integer of 1 to 10, and m represents an integer of at least 4). The invention further relates to a method of producing such a polyurethane elastomer that can be melt spun to form fibers or melt extruded to form a film. The fiber or film can be irradiated with high energy radiation such that crosslinking of the polyurethane occurs. The fibers according to the invention exhibit excellent properties with regard to the mechanical properties of the fabric, in particular good tensile strength, elongation at tear, residual elongation and heat deflection temperatures. |
