abstract | (57) [Summary] The iodine absorption amount (I 2 No.) is 50 to 112 mg / g, and the primary particle size (hereinafter referred to as “primary particle size”) measured by the method of ASTM test method D3849-89 is 25 nm or less. The present invention provides a carbon black having an I 2 No. of 65 to 95 mg / g and a primary particle size of 20 nm or less. Also disclosed and claimed are carbon blacks having an I 2 No. of 100 to 112 mg / g and a primary particle size of 20 nm or less. The present invention further provides that the I 2 No. is 65 to 112 mg / g, the primary particle size is 20 nm or less, and the CDBP (dibutyl absorption value of crushed carbon black) is 102 cm 3 (cc / 100 g) or 100 cm 3 per 100 g of carbon black. The following DBP. In addition, carbon blacks having an I 2 No. of 50-70 mg / g and a primary particle size of 25 nm or less are disclosed and claimed. The present invention also provides carbon black having an I 2 No. of 50 to 85 mg / g, a primary particle size of 25 nm or less, and a CDBP of 96 cc / 100 g or less.
