titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for motion discrimination over multiple frames
abstract Summary The present invention relates to improved motion estimation in signal recording. A method for evaluating motion between a reference image and each frame in a series of frames, comprising the following steps. That is, (1) for each frame, evaluate the motion field from the reference image to that frame; (2) for each frame, convert the estimated motion field to a motion matrix, where each column corresponds to one frame And each column includes a component of a motion vector for each element of the reference image, and (3) performing a principal component analysis on the motion matrix to form a motion score comprising a plurality of row vectors called a motion score vector. A motion loading matrix consisting of a plurality of column vectors, referred to as a matrix motion loading vector, wherein each motion score vector corresponds to one element for each frame, and each element of each motion loading vector is one of the reference images. Corresponding to one element, one line of the motion score matrix and One motion loading vector constitutes one factor, the number of factors is less than or equal to the number of frames, and (4) for each frame, multiply the motion score corresponding to that frame by the motion loading vector, Generating a motion hypothesis for each frame, and (5) evaluating a motion field from the reference image to the frame by using the motion hypothesis again as information for each frame; Outputting the motion field evaluated in step (5) representing motion to and from the image.
