titleOfInvention | 4-substituted cephem derivatives as elastase inhibitors |
abstract | (57) [Summary]nThe present invention relates to cephem derivatives having an appropriate substituent at the C-2 position; that is, a heterocycleylthio or acyloxy group, and a method for producing the same. These compounds are potent protease inhibitors, especially human leukocyte elastase (HLE) inhibitors. These inhibitors can be synthesized by a substitution reaction starting from a known cephem compound having an appropriate leaving group at the 2-position. |
