abstract | (57) Abstract: A polyethylene resin for a container and a composition thereof according to the present invention have a content of 50% which is an index of stress crack resistance. A polyethylene resin and composition capable of forming a film or sheet having a crack generation time of 100 hours or more, and whose printed surface does not peel off in a grid test performed on the surface of the film or sheet printed by corona discharge treatment. The polyethylene resin and the composition consist of a linear polyethylene having a Mw / Mn of 2 to 3.5 as measured by GPC, and the linear polyethylene has a density of 0.890 to 0.975 g / cm 3 and a room temperature n. -It is characterized in that the content of decane-soluble components is 2% by weight or less. The polyethylene resin for a container and its composition can be formed into a thin wall and at a high speed, is excellent in printability and stress cracking property, and is suitable for applications such as tubes and bottles. |
