(57) [Problem] To provide a peritoneal dialysis solution using a substance which does not react with an amino group in a protein and is thermally stable as an osmotic agent. SOLUTION: As an osmotic pressure adjusting agent, (1) an alicyclic hexahydric alcohol, (2) a hexonic acid or a sugar acid obtainable by oxidation of an aldohexose, or (3) a reducing agent composed of hexose. Contains one or more saccharide derivatives obtainable by converting an aldehyde group-containing hexose residue of a disaccharide into a sugar alcohol residue, a hexonic acid residue or a sugar acid residue.
