PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated magnetic recording medium in which a film having uniform unevenness and excellent durability such as scratch resistance is formed on a substrate. The disk drive includes a disk substrate and a magnetic layer formed thereon, and has a general formula (1) below between the disk substrate and the magnetic layer or on the magnetic layer. (Wherein R 1 , R 2 and R 3 are each independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms), and a polysilazane having a repeating unit represented by the following formula: What is claimed is: 1.
