abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] There is no fuzz on the roll surface and unstable toner conveyance amount, good dimensional accuracy, and the problem of durability and foreign matter has been solved. Provided are a toner supply roll capable of suppressing or eliminating the change and greatly improving the toner scraping property on a developing roll, and a method for advantageously manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: Each of the cells 38 directly below the skin layer is composed of a core metal 32 and a soft polyurethane foam layer 34 having a hardness of 350 g or less and having a skin layer 36 on the outer peripheral surface. The polyurethane foam layer is formed on the toner supply roll 26 which is opened to the outside by the opening 40 having an opening diameter of 100 to 800 μm, and the total area of the cell openings occupies 20% or more of the surface of the skin layer. Is provided so as to extend linearly in the roll axis direction with a height of 20 to 3000 μm and a height of 300 to 3000 μm. And a plurality of ridges having a pitch in the roll circumferential direction to form an uneven surface structure.
