abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide good liquid adhesion at the beginning of coating when a coating liquid for an image forming layer is applied at a high speed, and to provide an adhesive property between a support for an image material and an image forming layer, especially halogenation. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing an image material using a resin-coated paper as a support, in which a silver photographic constituent layer has good adhesiveness in a wet state and has a desired emulsion film. A support is made of a resin-coated paper having an undercoat layer coated on the side of the resin layer on which the image forming layer is provided, and the undercoat layer surface is subjected to high-frequency corona treatment. The object is solved by a method for producing an image material, which comprises applying a coating solution for an image forming layer after or while applying an electric field. |
