titleOfInvention Optical pulse train compressor
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a novel optical pulse train compressor. An optical pulse train capable of inputting / outputting an optical pulse and having at least two optical modulators for modulating optical characteristics such as transmittance, reflectance, and refractive index of the optical pulse with light controlled from the outside. A first optical path (4) for transmitting the signal light pulse through the at least two light modulating sections. 5) and a second optical path (6 to 7) for receiving a second optical pulse for reading the signal light pulse and emitting the read light pulse as a compressed light pulse train. The second light pulse for reading has an incident light path set so as to reach each of the light modulators 1 (1) and 1 (2) at the same time, and reads the signal light pulse as a compressed light pulse train. An optical pulse train compressor having an optical path configured so that the two optical pulses are superimposed with a certain time difference and emitted as a group of optical pulse trains.
