abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolant composition excellent in pH buffering property, disposal treatment, corrosion prevention performance against bad water and maintenance of corrosion prevention performance for a long period of time while maintaining cooling performance. SOLUTION: The coolant composition contains 0.1 to 3.0 at least one of molybdate and tungstate as a corrosion inhibitor in addition to glycols as an antifreeze component. %, Preferably 0.4 to 2.0% by weight of at least one of succinic acid and its alkali metal salt in 0.1 to 8%. 0% by weight, preferably 0.4 to 5.0% by weight, and 0.01 to 1.0% by weight of at least one of triazoles, thiazoles and alkali metal salts of thiazoles, Preferably, it is contained in the range of 0.05 to 0.4% by weight.
