abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerating method for treating a reduced-activity zeolite extracted from a reaction zone of an olefin hydration reaction using a zeolite as a catalyst under hydrothermal synthesis conditions in an aqueous alkali solution. Improve later handling. SOLUTION: In a catalytic hydration reaction of an olefin using a zeolite as a catalyst, at least a part of the zeolite having a reduced activity extracted from a reaction zone is subjected to hydrothermal synthesis conditions in an aqueous alkaline solution in the presence of a sulfate group. After applying, if necessary, the cation species of the zeolite is exchanged for a desired cation species, and subjected to the hydration reaction again, Olefin catalytic hydration method. |
