abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a photoelectric conversion element and a solar cell having excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency and stable for a long time. A solid layer including a working electrode having a semiconductor film coated with a dye, a counter electrode provided to face the working electrode, and a polymer porous film sandwiched between the working electrode and the counter electrode. The above object is attained by a photoelectric conversion element, characterized by having an electrolyte solution held in voids of the solid layer.
