abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a liquid crystal film useful as a polarizing plate exhibiting a high polarization ability for incident light oblique to a substrate surface. SOLUTION: A composition containing a tilt-alignable liquid crystal polymer and a dichroic dye is used to fix the tilt alignment of the liquid crystal polymer formed in a liquid crystal state.
