(57) Abstract: The present invention teaches a method capable of producing a compound exhibiting a high damping property. SOLUTION: This method comprises providing a poly (alkenylbenzene-co-maleimide) polymer product in which a polyalkylene is grafted with a maleated polyalkylene, an alkyldiamine and a poly (alkenylbenzene-co-maleimide) polymer. And dispersing the polyalkylene-grafted poly (alkenylbenzene-co-maleimide) polymer product in a rubber compound such that a compound exhibiting relatively high attenuation results. The present invention also contemplates rubber compound compositions, and articles made from the compositions. |
