abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a method for producing a field-of-view selection film having high productivity and excellent visibility without requiring complicated steps and complicated operations. SOLUTION: A poor solvent or fat or oil for the thermoplastic resin film is applied to the surface of a thermoplastic resin film containing 0.3 to 20% by weight of a good solvent and stretched to form a craze on the surface. And a light-absorbing substance is impregnated in the craze.
