titleOfInvention Method for producing optically active carboxylic acid
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a method for producing an optically active carboxylic acid useful as a pharmaceutical intermediate. SOLUTION: General formula (1) (Wherein, R 1 is an acyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; a benzoyl group optionally substituted with a halogen, an alkyl, an alkoxy, a cyano, or a nitro group; a tert-butoxycarbonyl group; Indicates a benzyloxycarbonyl group. The optically active isomer represented by the general formula (2) is characterized in that a mixture of optical isomers having a low optical purity represented by the formula (1) is crystallized in a mixed solvent of alcohol and water and then deprotected. Method for producing carboxylic acid.
