titleOfInvention Positively chargeable toner and developer using the same
abstract (57) [Abstract] (with correction) [PROBLEMS] To provide a positively chargeable toner capable of obtaining a good printed image with a small change in the charge amount of the toner and a developer using the same. SOLUTION: In a positively chargeable toner containing a binder resin as a main component, a nigrosine dye and a quaternary ammonium salt are used as charge control agents. The positively chargeable toner contains a polyester resin as a binder resin, a polypropylene wax as a release agent, and carbon as a colorant. In the toner material particles containing no external additive, the content of the nigrosine dye is 2 to 5% (% by weight, the same applies hereinafter), and the content of the quaternary ammonium salt is 0.25 to 2%.
