abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide a cryogenic rectification system capable of producing both high-purity nitrogen gas and liquid high-purity nitrogen in relatively large amounts. A high purity nitrogen liquid stream (91) is withdrawn from a second column upper condenser (3), a second part (93) of which forms a high purity nitrogen liquid stream (94), and the remaining part (9) of the stream (94). 6 is sent as stream 98 through valve 97 and enters the upper portion of first column 10 as additional reflux. This additional reflux liquid is used to create a series of dual column systems, This enables the production of relatively large amounts of high purity nitrogen gas and high purity nitrogen liquid from the upper condenser of each of the column and the second column, respectively. |
