titleOfInvention | Method for producing carboxy polysaccharide |
abstract | (57) [Summary] To produce a carboxypolysaccharide by a combination of a transition metal and an oxide, the transition metal is effectively separated from a reaction mixture. In a method for producing a carboxy polysaccharide by oxidizing a polysaccharide with a combination of a transition metal compound and an oxidizing agent, a reaction mixture solution after oxidation is adjusted to pH 1 to 6, and a metal salt is added and dissolved. Then, the pH of the solution is adjusted to 7 or more to precipitate metal salts as hydroxides and to precipitate transition metals in the reaction mixture. |
