titleOfInvention Bezafibrate sustained release formulation
abstract (57) Abstract: Provided is a bezafibrate sustained-release preparation containing bezafibrate and hydroxypropylcellulose having a 2% by weight aqueous solution at 20 ° C. having a viscosity of about 1 to about 5 centipoise. [Effect] Sticking in the tableting process can be prevented. It is possible to make the sustained-release property uniform between each preparation or lot. Appropriate sustained release equivalent to that of a commercially available bezafibrate sustained release formulation is possible, and a sufficient initial effect and excellent sustained effect can be stably obtained. The active ingredient bezafibrate can be made to have a high content, and the dosage form can be made compact.
