PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily separating and quantifying LDL cholesterol without a complicated centrifugation operation. SOLUTION: A surfactant acting on lipoproteins other than low-density lipoprotein Cholesterol esterase and cholesterol oxidase are allowed to act in the presence of to remove hydrogen peroxide, thereby removing high-density lipoprotein, ultra-low-density lipoprotein in test samples and cholesterol in chylomicron. A test that may include low density lipoproteins, high density lipoproteins, very low density lipoproteins and / or chylomicrons, comprising one step and then a second step of quantifying residual cholesterol in the test sample. A method for the determination of cholesterol in low density lipoprotein in samples was provided. |
