abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide a composition for protecting electrical components against electrical overstress transients. A composition for protecting electrical components against electrical overstress transients (EOS) comprising an insulating binder, doped semiconductive particles, and semiconductive particles. The composite exhibits a high electrical resistance to normal operating voltages, but converts to a lower electrical resistance in response to the EOS transient and keeps the EOS transient at a lower level during the EOS transient. |
