abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a microcomputer having a built-in flash memory which is easy to use. A CPU is a central processing unit, and FMRY is an electrically erasable / writable nonvolatile flash memory. The flash memory has a plurality of memory arrays in which a plurality of memory cells are arranged in a matrix. Each bit data of data composed of a plurality of bits is divided and stored in each memory array, and the central processing via an address bus is performed. Each bit data stored in each memory array is output in response to access of the device, The bit data constitutes the data, and outputs the data to the central processing unit via a data bus.
