titleOfInvention Apparatus and method for gated radiation therapy based on physiological inputs
abstract (57) Abstract: A radiation therapy apparatus and method capable of adjusting radiation delivery by monitoring a physiological parameter of a patient. A radiation therapy device (2) configured to receive a signal representative of one or more of a physiological parameter of a patient. The signal controls the gate so that the RF pulse (1002) and the injector pulse (1 006) is changed, so that X-ray generation can be inhibited without affecting the injector or RF amplitude.
