titleOfInvention | Hydrogen storage alloy and hydrogen storage alloy electrode |
abstract | (57) Abstract: The present invention relates to a hydrogen storage alloy having a crystal structure of BCC (body-centered cubic structure), and particularly to a hydrogen for nickel-hydride batteries having excellent discharge capacity and durability (cycle characteristics). Provide an occlusion alloy. SOLUTION: The composition is represented by a general formula Ti (100-abcd) Cr a V b Ni c X d, wherein X is Y (yttrium), lanthanoids, Pd, 1 kind or more selected from Pt, a, b, c, d are in atomic percentages, 8 ≦ a ≦ 50 , 3 0 <b ≦ 60, 5 ≦ c ≦ 15, 2 ≦ d ≦ 10, 40 ≦ a + B + c + d ≦ 90, and the crystal structure of the main phase is a body-centered cubic structure, 0 <b ≦ 30, and a heat-treated body-centered cubic structure. It is represented by one or two or more selected from Mo and W, one or two or more selected from Y (yttrium), lanthanoid, Pd and Pt, and is characterized by having a body-centered cubic structure by heat treatment. |
