abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a method for measuring the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease by genetic testing. The dihydrolipoamidosuccinyltransferase gene of the mitochondrial α-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase complex has bases at positions 19117 and 19183 of A and C, respectively, in the above-mentioned order in both genes derived from the parent and the mother. A method for measuring the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease was provided, which consisted of examining whether or not the disease had occurred. |
