titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method of aluminum silicon carbide composite coated steel wire and overhead ground wire |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] To prevent deterioration, embrittlement, alteration, and disappearance of a composite silicon carbide fiber, and to prevent the silicon carbide fiber from being exposed on the surface of the wire for another purpose. Provided are a method of manufacturing a silicon carbide composite material coated steel wire and an overhead ground wire. SOLUTION: A composite material 13 composed of aluminum and silicon carbide fiber or aluminum alloy and continuous silicon carbide fiber 21 is continuously extrusion-coated on the outer periphery of a steel wire 10 without performing molten aluminum of silicon carbide fiber. As a result, the long continuous silicon carbide fiber 21 is broken and the short silicon carbide fiber 2 1a can be uniformly distributed around the steel wire 10, Embrittlement, alteration, and disappearance of silicon carbide fiber 21a can be prevented. By forming the aluminum layer 18a on the outer periphery of the composite wire 14, the silicon carbide fiber 21a is not exposed. For this reason, there is no danger that remarkable corrosion will occur due to salt damage and the like, and that there will be no damage during construction. |
