abstract A rubber composition is provided that is at least partially reinforced by silica and has greatly improved hysteresis, abrasion and tensile properties. SOLUTION: At least partially selected from the group consisting of a) at least one diene elastomer having an oxidized functional group, and b) a substance other than silica having an oxidized functional group of silica and silicon on its surface, A filler comprising at least one so-called "silica-type"substance; and c) an aminoalkylalkoxysilane, aminoarylalkoxysilane and amino, wherein the alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group is optionally substituted by a functional group. At least one coupling agent selected from the group consisting of aralkylalkoxysilanes, and d) an alkylalkoxy, wherein an alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group may be optionally substituted by a functional group other than an amino group or a sulfo group. Silane, arylalkoxysilane and aralkylalkoxy A rubber composition comprising at least one coating agent selected from the group consisting of silanes.
