titleOfInvention Color filter, method of manufacturing the color filter, and liquid crystal display device using the color filter
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for solving a problem of a water washing step in a method for producing a color filter, and for satisfactorily and quickly cleaning a dye thin film layer of a color filter formed by pigment particles. SOLUTION: At least a step of forming an electrode pattern 2 on an insulating substrate 1, forming a pigment layer of a color filter by depositing pigment particles on the electrode pattern 2, and then washing the pigment layer with water is provided. The method for producing a color filter according to claim 1, wherein after the water washing, further washing is performed using a liquid A7 having a surface tension smaller than that of water.
