titleOfInvention Magneto-optical recording method
abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a magneto-optical recording method which is hardly affected by frictional heat generated by sliding between a magneto-optical recording medium and a magnetic field generating device and can record information stably. An optical head and a contact-type magnetic field generator are arranged on both sides of a magneto-optical recording medium to face each other. As the magnetic field generating device, a magnetic field generating portion (center yoke) 14c not in contact with the magneto-optical recording medium, and a medium sliding portion (outer yoke) 14a, 14 in contact with the magneto-optical recording medium b), and as a magneto-optical recording medium, a disk-shaped injection-molded transparent substrate having a required preformat pattern on one side, and a second substrate carried on the preformat pattern forming surface of the transparent substrate. One having one enhanced layer, a magnetic layer laminated on the first enhanced layer, a second enhanced layer laminated on the magnetic layer, and a reflective layer laminated on the second enhanced layer is used. While irradiating the magnetic layer 4 of the magneto-optical recording medium with the laser beam 16 from the optical head, a magnetic field is applied from the magnetic field generating unit of the magnetic field generator to the focused portion of the magnetic layer on the laser beam to record information on the magnetic layer. Do.
