titleOfInvention Waste ink absorber and manufacturing method thereof
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a waste ink absorber composed of a hard resin foam such as a melamine resin foam, and a method of manufacturing a waste ink absorber composed of a melamine resin foam. SOLUTION: A foaming resin raw material for producing a melamine resin foam, a rigid polyurethane foam, a phenolic resin foam or the like is injected into a mold, and foamed and cured by an appropriate means such as irradiation with an electron beam, heating, or the like. A waste ink absorber made of a rigid resin foam is obtained. The hard resin foam is preferably a melamine resin foam. In particular, by using an appropriate amount of hydroxyfluoroether as a foaming agent, injecting a foamed resin raw material having a volume of 2.5 to 20 times the volume of a molding die, and irradiating an electron beam to foam and cure, a cell diameter of 50 to 50 is obtained. A waste ink absorber consisting of a melamine resin foam having a fine structure of 100 μm can be obtained.
