Bacteria detection method |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lyse a host by phage infection when infecting a host bacterium with a phage labeled with a phage nucleic acid with a dye or a fluorescent dye and detecting the bacterium using the dye or the fluorescent dye as an indicator. Stop and improve quantification. SOLUTION: As a bacteriophage labeled with a dye or a fluorescent dye, a bacteriophage whose DNA is disrupted in a host having a restriction modification system by growing in a host bacterium lacking the restriction modification system is used. |
