abstract (57) Abstract: The present invention enables a code to be detected to be identified at high speed. Kind Code: A1 A data shift clock (D CLK1 ) supplied to a matching filter means (82) is stopped at a desired timing to hold a received signal (S10), and a replica code generated by a correlation coefficient generating means (83) is generated. By switching to the first, second, or third replica code at a desired timing and examining the correlation value at that time, the second code, the third code, and the first code are sequentially detected, and the first code is detected. By detecting the code timing and code type, the correlation detection is performed at high speed by the matching filter means while holding the reception signal, so that each correlation detection can be performed at substantially the same timing. Can be identified faster than in the past.
